BERGMAN - MOUNTAIN TOUR
"An incredible voice, incredible songs. Just like that. She’ll blow you away." – FAZ
In an age of endless playlists and disposable listening, BERGMAN asks for attention. Rooted in avant-art pop and jazz, the music speaks to listeners searching for depth and human connection in an increasingly distracted world. Vocalist, guitarist, composer, producer and academic Teresa Bergman, now under the moniker BERGMAN, enters a bold new creative chapter: socially and politically purposeful, carried by the joy of untempered expression.
Known for her rare vocal ability and dynamic stage presence, Teresa Bergman released three albums under her given name, amassing over 2.5 million streams to date. Across thousands of performances in Europe, Asia and Australasia, she appeared at major festivals including ELBJAZZ and Reeperbahn, and collaborated with the German Film Orchestra Babelsberg. These experiences laid the foundation for BERGMAN – a project that builds on this history while reaching decisively beyond it.
The sound world of BERGMAN is expansive and layered, eclectic and unpredictable. Lush harmonies and shifting time signatures collide with pulsing grooves and emotive storytelling. BERGMAN’s powerhouse voice sits at the core: used as melody, rhythm and texture alike. Rooted in jazz sensibility yet venturing into avant-art pop, the music balances experimentation and accessibility, gravity and playfulness.
BERGMAN builds bridges. With a background in political science, BERGMAN crafts lyrics that refuse to separate artistry from responsibility, bridging complex ideas, activism and art. In an age of doom-scrolling, the project invites listeners to slow down, lean in and engage – to feel, to question and, in every sense, to move.

One life, Too many leaders.
Going left, going righT. Never going lightly on the little woman beneath them.
DISTANCE FAR, DIStance Close.
Don’t TELL YOU WHEN YOU LEARN TO FLy, That Two-Way ticket may never bring you home.
Patiently damned, goliath of sand Awaiting his watery fate. Somehow condones your humble abode,
A hollow to swallow your pride.

“When Teresa Bergman sings and plays guitar, her songs radiate immense energy: the New Zealander can vary tempo, rhythm, and emotion at will, and hits nearly every vocal height with perfect intonation.”
